Calabasas, CA — 7/12/2005 – Calabasas, Ca (July 11, 2005) – Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Inc. today has announced that Delta Force® - Black Hawk Down®, the company’s highly anticipated tactical shooter for the Xbox® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system has gone gold. Rated “T” for teen by the ESRB, the game features an expansive single player campaign and breaks new ground in the multiplayer arena by allowing up to 50 players to battle over Xbox Live®, or up to 32 players on PlayStation®2 via GameSpy.

Set in Somalia in 1993, Delta Force – Black Hawk Down is based upon the Operation Restore Hope and Task Force Ranger campaigns and follows members of the elite Delta Force, US Army Rangers and 10th Mountain Division as they participate in a number of daring raids against the oppressive Somali warlords in and around Mogadishu.
