London, United Kingdom 8/20/2003 Entertainment software publisher NovaLogic Ltd. today announced that it will
team up with the World Cyber Games 2003 UK Preliminary at the Shepherds Bush
Pavilion September 5th – 7th 2003 to host the first exclusive UK public
play test of the brand new multiplayer based PC title Joint Operations™
Gamers will be given the opportunity to play on an Attack & Defend map
featuring dense jungle terrain one of six PC’s. “We are looking
forward to teaming up with the World Cyber Games to offer gamers a sneak preview
of Joint Operations,” commented Lucinda Searle, European Marketing Manager
at NovaLogic. “We’re looking forward to seeing the reactions from
the online multiplayer community, for what is going to be one of the must have
PC titles of 2004” she added.
Set in Indonesia in the near future, Joint Operations takes the player to
a country on the verge of disintegration. Players can wage war as either a
member of the high-tech Joint Operations Forces or the more guerrilla-oriented
Indonesian Rebels. Super-foliated jungles provide dense cover for frantic firefights
or stealthy sniper battles, while the wide-open rice fields and coastal islands
are ideal for intense user-controlled vehicle combat.
Joint Operations will ship during Q1 2004 on PC CD ROM.
