Question:
When I start the game I get the error: "This application has failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Answer:
DirectX9 needs to be installed. To install DirectX9 off the cd, put the cd into the cd drive then when the Autorun starts click on the "Install DirectX" button. The DirectX Agreement will come up. Once you accept the agreement you will have the "WinZip Self Extractor" start up. There is a small button call "Browse.." near the text "Unzip to folder:" click on this button, in the "Browse for folder" window choose Desktop then click on ok. Now click on the Unzip once it finishes extracting the files you can close this window. Now open the folder called "DirectX9". In that folder open a file called Dxsetup and this will start the DirectX setup process.
