Question:
What is Spectator Mode
and how can I use it?
Answer:
A host of a multiplayer game
has the option to allow spectators into a game. This allows players to observe
the game as a neutral third team that is unable to interact with the in-game action.
Spectators can not affect the game, complete objectives or score points. Also,
none of the text chat typed by a spectator can be seen by either team. If a
host has spectator mode enabled, there will be a checkbox that can be checked
to enter the game as a spectator. The host may also require a password for
spectators.
While in spectator mode, a
player can switch from “Free Look” to “Chase Cam” by pressing the “CTRL” key and
either the “,” or “.” keys together. Once in Chase Mode, a spectator can cycle
through players by pressing the “CTRL” key and either the “N” or “M” keys
together.
