Question:
Game freezes or locks up while in main menu.

Answer:
There are a few combinations of sound cards and motherboards that have known issues, not just with Novalogic games, but with games in general. If the game is freezing in the main menu there is an easy way to tell if this is your issue. You\'ll need to go to the device manager for windows and go under the category of "sound video and game controllers". Under that category you should have your sound device or sound card. If you right click on that device and select "properties" you should go to a screen with information about your sound card. Depending on your version of windows there will either be a box you can check off reading "Disable this hardware device" or a window that reads "Use this hardware device (enable)" that can be changed to "do not use this hardware device (disable)". You\'ll need to use on of these options to disable your sound card. Once this is done, hit accept or apply and then windows will save this change. Now try the game out. You\'ll have no sound, but if the game does not freeze up we\'ll know exactly what your issue is. If is does not freeze you\'ll need to get the latest updates for your sound card and motherboard from either the manufacturer of your computer, or the manufacturer of your sound card and motherboard. This should resolve your issue.
