Introducing the Lightning 3 RAWhide Tournament on NovaWorld
NovaLogic is launching a new series of NovaWorld Lightning 3 RAW tournaments. One tournament will be held each week composed of four rounds of intense RAW games to determine the winning squadron. Rounds one and two will be played on Tuesdays and rounds three and four will be played on Thursdays.  The winning squadron will be crowned champion and receive NovaLogic merchandise in addition to recognition on the NovaLogic's Hall of Fame Lightning 3 tournament site.

How to Enter
Registration is required. Each squadron leader will be responsible for entering their entire team at the time of registration, including all handles and email addresses.  One entry per squadron will be accepted.  Squadrons who submit more than one entry risk not being chosen to participate in the tournament. Sixteen squadrons will be selected to participate each week in the tournament.  Squadrons will be made up of no more than eight players and no fewer than four players.  Entries with less than four players will not be accepted and any squadron that fields less than four players will be disqualified from that round.  All teams selected will play on Tuesdays and the four teams advancing to the semi-finals will also play on Thursdays.

Registration will be open from 9:30 am on Monday June 21 until 6:00 pm on Wednesday July 7th (Times are Pacific).

Those teams chosen to participate will be notified via email the following week.  The first tournament will be on Tuesday July 6th.

Scoring
Sixteen squadrons will be randomly chosen and paired to compete each week.   Each squadron will be notified of their first match a week before they are scheduled to play.  Each match will be up to 30 minutes in length.  The squadron with the most units destroyed wins the match and advances to the next round.  In the event of a tie the squadron that launches the first successful bomb will be declared the winner.  If there is no score after the 30 minutes then both teams will be disqualified.  Get out there and score!

 Code of Conduct
Warning: If you are on the winning squadron, do NOT share your password with anyone. The number of "spots" on each server is limited to the number of players who receive passwords. If you share your password, you will risk losing your spot on the server to someone else and will not be able to compete in the rest of the tournament.

At the end of each round, the squadron that has not qualified to advance to the next round will be asked to leave the game. If the squadron does not cooperate, they will then be "punted" from the server. If punted players attempt to rejoin, they risk being banned from future access to NovaWorld.

The cooperation of you, the player, is important in order for us to continue providing future tournaments on NovaWorld. By cheating, sharing passwords or being uncooperative, players are not only ruining the experience for others, but are also risking cancellation of this tournament and other future tournaments.

NovaLogic will do its best to resolve any disputes that may arise as they happen online. If however, you feel they have not been resolved, e-mail the dispute to squadplay@novalogic.com. It may not affect the outcome of that particular tournament, but may help avoid the same problem in future tournaments. Your feedback is also important for us to continue providing tournaments that are both fun and fair.
