Question:
I want to host a multiplayer game on NovaWorld. What are the system or connection requirements?

Answer:
A computer that meets the minimum system requirements will provide adequate performance to host a multiplayer game. It is highly recommended that if you are hosting, you shut down any other applications running on your computer. This is more important on a computer that is closer to the minimum specs than the recommended specs. If another application forces Black Hawk Down to wait for available resources, all the clients in the multiplayer game may receive connection interruptions until those resources become available.

To provide a game server with good network performance you should follow these guidelines:

1. Adjust your "Connection Speed" to reflect what type of connection you are using. The number in this setting should reflect your upload speed, not your download speed. As you change this value, you will notice that the recommended setting for "Max Players" changes accordingly.

2. Adjust your "Max Players" setting to be equal to or less than the recommended setting. If too many players enter the game, your Internet connection may not be fast enough to send data out to all the players. This will result in a "Laggy" game for the other players.
